Green Valley’s Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) is a catalytic converter engineered for diesel engines & gensets. It reduces Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrocarbons (HC) and Particulate Matter (PM). Simple, cost-effective and maintenance-free, our DOC fits most types of diesel engines. We engineer and manufacture advanced exhaust aftertreatment systems tailored to diverse generator sets.
TECHNOLOGY:
We adopt special herringbone foil corrugation to form mixed-flow cell structure. Exhaust gas enters turbulent flow, improving gas-catalyst contact and mass transfer for higher conversion efficiency.
The catalyst is pre-coated on foil before substrate forming. This foil washcoating technology delivers uniform coating, strong adhesion and optimal catalyst utilization.
PERFORMANCE:
Our DOC achieves balanced conversion of HC, CO and particulate matter (SOF) with low sulfate generation.
- Minimum working temperature: ~180°C (360°F)
- Optimal working range: 250–300°C (480–570°F), CO conversion>90%
- PM reduction: 30–50%
Actual performance depends on catalyst size, exhaust temperature and raw exhaust composition. PM conversion is affected by particulate composition and fuel sulfur content.
DURABILITY:
Our exhaust purifiers use metallic or ceramic substrates for robust mechanical durability. The catalyst substrate is designed to match the full service life of the engine.
Two main causes of catalyst deactivation: high temperature & chemical poisoning.
Prolonged exposure above 650°C (1200°F) will trigger thermal degradation. Under normal running conditions, diesel exhaust temperature stays low so thermal deterioration rarely occurs. Catalyst overheating only happens under severe engine faults (e.g. leaking injectors). Unburnt fuel oxidizes inside the catalyst, releasing exothermic heat and causing sharp temperature spikes.
DESIGN:
Green Valley's DOC has two configuration options:
- Universal fit: clamped or welded construction
- Direct-fit replacement: drop-in substitute for OEM mufflers
Direct-fit catalytic mufflers are available for thousands of construction machinery, forklifts and diesel powered equipment. Pre-designed units are in stock or can be manufactured & shipped within days. The M-Series emission control catalyst is integrated inside the muffler, selected according to engine size. It serves as an exact OEM muffler replacement. Emission reduction performance is guaranteed, provided the engine is well maintained with no excessive lube oil consumption.
