Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)

Green Valley Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) captures particulate matter (PM) in diesel engine exhaust. It is widely applied to stationary diesel generator sets, data center backup power supplies and other internal combustion engine exhaust aftertreatment scenarios, effectively reducing particulate emissions to meet stringent global environmental emission standards.

We offer two options: ceramic filter DPF and metallic filter DPF for flexible selection according to project operating conditions.

The ceramic filter DPF:

Adopting cordierite ceramic substrate, it captures PM and soot solely by physical filtration. Without precious metal catalytic coating, it cannot remove HC and CO.

The integrated monolithic substrate weighs over 10 kg. It clogs after 2~3 hours full-load operation. Soot cleaning requires high-temperature incineration furnace or air compressor back-blowing.

The metallic filter DPF:

Built with sintered alloy metal substrate, it combines physical filtration with catalytic reaction. The catalytic coating adsorbs PM and partially oxidizes HC & CO.

This pull-out clip-on modular unit weighs only 4.5 kg for easy removal. After around 2 hours full load running, the cartridge can be pulled out and directly washed with water.

It features 500°C high temperature electric valves plus audible & visual alarms for full safety protection against explosion risks.

Both versions support indoor hoisting or outdoor installation. Custom housing materials are available: carbon steel, 304, 316 and 409 stainless steel, selectable upon demand. For a 65L engine genset, the ceramic filter DPF has an overall weight of around 400 kg, while Green Valley metallic filter DPF weighs approximately 300 kg with a lighter footprint.
