Under the continuous development of the global green economy, the new energy industry, as an important engine for sustainable development, has increasingly strict environmental standards in its own production process. Chengdu, as the core of China’s new energy industry, has numerous large-scale new energy production bases, and the stable supply of electricity plays a key role in the sustainable development of these bases. However, the exhaust gas generated by backup generators during operation has become a potential environmental hazard. Green Valley Environmental Protection, with its professional technical strength and rich governance experience, has provided efficient exhaust gas treatment solutions for Chengdu’s new energy production base, helping to achieve the coordinated development of environmental protection and production.
The exhaust gas from standby generator sets is complex in composition and contains a large amount of pollutants, including nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and other pollutants. If not effectively treated and directly discharged, it not only damages the surrounding air quality but also affects the production environment and may pose a threat to the health of residents around the base. With the increasingly strict environmental regulations, meeting the standards for exhaust emissions has become a key focus for sustainable development of enterprises. In response to the actual situation of Chengdu New Energy Production Base, Green Valley Environmental Protection has customized a comprehensive exhaust treatment plan for it.
Green Valley Environmental Protection adopts advanced comprehensive tail gas treatment technology. For the treatment of nitrogen oxides, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) is used. By injecting a certain amount of urea into the tail gas, under the action of a certain temperature and catalyst, nitrogen oxides are converted into harmless nitrogen gas and water. The purification efficiency can reach over 99%, ensuring that the concentration of emitted tail gas particles is lower than the national environmental protection standards. In order to ensure the precise implementation of the governance plan, the Green Valley Environmental Protection Team conducted a comprehensive preliminary investigation to gain a detailed understanding of key parameters such as the model, power, operating conditions, and exhaust emission characteristics of the backup generator set. Combined with the layout of the base site and the sensitive distribution of the surrounding environment, a scientifically reasonable equipment installation plan was formulated. During the equipment installation process, while not affecting the normal operation of the unit, attention was paid to the integrated design of the equipment, reducing the footprint and minimizing the impact on the production space of the base.
Project Name: Comprehensive Treatment of Exhaust Gas from Backup Generator Sets in Chengdu New Energy Production Base
Process: Cummins diesel generator set DPF+SCR
Matching models: GRVNES20TX-14 and GRVNES15-CYJ-10-CL
Emission standard: NOx reduced from 1910mg/m3N to 240mg/m3N
Green Valley Environmental Protection has established a comprehensive operation and maintenance service system. Through an online monitoring system, real-time monitoring of exhaust emission indicators is carried out. Once abnormal situations are detected, timely response and handling can be carried out. Professional technical personnel are arranged to maintain and repair the purification equipment, replace catalysts, etc. to ensure that the equipment is always in the best operating condition and ensure stable and compliant exhaust emissions. The application of the Green Valley Environmental Protection Tail Gas Comprehensive Treatment Plan in the Chengdu New Energy Production Base has achieved significant environmental benefits, effectively improving the quality of monitoring equipment around the base, reducing environmental risks, and achieving stable emissions to avoid exceeding emission standards, ensuring the normal production and operation of the enterprise.
Green Valley Environmental Protection will continue to adhere to the concept of “green development, guarding blue skies and white clouds”, continuously increase investment in technology research and development, and improve the level of comprehensive exhaust gas treatment technology. In response to the development trend of the new energy industry and the continuous improvement of environmental protection requirements, we are researching and developing more efficient, energy-saving, and intelligent purification designs and equipment to help the new energy industry steadily move forward on the path of green development and contribute to China’s achievement of the “dual carbon” goal.
