When the DPF needs to be regenerated, it uses nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and other substances produced by the DOC to react with the particulate matter in the DPF, oxidizing and removing it to reduce particulate emissions. This not only improves the efficiency and reliability of the entire exhaust treatment system but also reduces space occupation and costs.
