Containerized generator sets serve as core equipment for emergency power supply in scenarios such as data center backup power, field infrastructure construction, oilfield operations, emergency rescue, and temporary power supply at ports, thanks to their rapid deployment, high mobility and reliable power output. These units feature frequent start-stop cycles and drastic load fluctuations. Their exhaust contains pollutants including nitrogen oxides (NOₓ), particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC). Meanwhile, constrained by the compact space inside the container and the requirement for integrated transportation together with the power station, conventional split-type exhaust treatment equipment commonly suffers from pain points such as insufficient installation space, poor seismic resistance, unstable denitrification performance under low loads, excessive ammonia slip, and complicated disassembly & relocation, which impose great pressure on environmental compliance of projects.
Targeting the challenges of mobility, variable operating conditions and space limitations of containerized power stations, Green ValleyProtection leverages more than ten years of technical accumulation in internal combustion engine exhaust aftertreatment and launches the complete mobile container power station exhaust aftertreatment solution with an integrated DOC+DPF+SCR+ASC system. It complies with China’s Non-road Stage IV emission standards, local ultra-low emission requirements, as well as international regulations including EU Stage V and US EPA Tier 4 Final, delivering a highly adaptable, high-efficiency and intelligent overall exhaust purification solution for diesel containerized power stations.
The whole system supports flexible configuration according to customer requirements to realize simultaneous removal of multiple pollutants:
- DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst): Oxidizes and decomposes CO and HC in exhaust, and converts part of NO into NO₂ to facilitate safe DPF regeneration, reduce black smoke and combustible components, and protect downstream catalysts.
- DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter): Captures particulate matter PM with high efficiency, achieving a black smoke removal efficiency of over 98% and steady control of Ringelmann smoke density ≤ Grade 1. It supports both passive and active regeneration modes to adapt to variable-load operating conditions of generators.
- ASC (Ammonia Slip Catalyst): Captures residual ammonia and stably controls ammonia slip within 3 ppm to avoid secondary pollution and meet strict acceptance criteria.
- SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction): Adopts Green Valley’s self-developed catalyst. It reduces NOₓ into nitrogen and water through precise urea dosing, with a stable denitrification efficiency ≥95%. Optimized by CFD flow field simulation, it solves the problems of uneven mixing and local high ammonia concentration caused by the short flue duct inside the container.
Featuring an integrated structure, matched low/medium/high-temperature catalyst technologies and intelligent precision ammonia dosing control tailored to project operating conditions, Green ValleyProtection’s complete exhaust aftertreatment solution for mobile container power stations addresses three major difficulties in exhaust treatment for mobile power plants: limited installation space, fluctuating working conditions and transportation reliability. It provides stable, compliant and cost-effective exhaust purification solutions for container power station projects at home and abroad.
