The primary solution for black smoke emissions from backup diesel generator sets is the installation of an exhaust after-treatment system on the diesel engine’s exhaust pipe. Black smoke purifiers, exhaust purifiers, and soot purifiers are collectively referred to as exhaust after-treatment systems. Depending on the material and structure, these can be further classified into wet purifiers and dry purifiers. Common types of wet purifiers include water spray purifiers and scrubber purifiers. On the other hand, common dry purifiers include alloy metal black smoke purifiers and stainless steel purifiers.
Due to the need for secondary treatment of wastewater, as well as their large size, susceptibility to rust, and shorter lifespan, wet purifiers have gradually been phased out of the market. In contrast, dry purifiers are increasingly being chosen by more users because of their dry purification technology, which offers a smaller size, lower backpressure, and greater durability.
We have selected a combination of brand-new materials and processes, and have independently developed and own all intellectual property rights for our dry exhaust gas purification and treatment device. This device is composed of multiple metal DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) carriers connected in parallel and features a snap-fastened, removable modular design.
During engine operation, when PM (particulate matter) particles clog the filter and cause an increase in backpressure, the electronic control system will trigger an alarm and open the bypass valve. During maintenance of the generator, the metal filter core can be easily removed from the filtering unit for washing and regeneration. The device operates without consuming any energy.
