What is the difference between DPF and COD of exhaust purifier of diesel generator set

First, exhaust analysis of DPF and diesel generator set emissions

For the treatment of diesel exhaust pollution, we provide a variety of solutions to meet the different needs of various users, and have developed different models and functions of diesel exhaust treatment equipment, such as: DOC, DPF, DCF and a series of diesel exhaust purification equipment, to solve the problem of diesel exhaust pollution that has plagued customers for a long time.

As a common emergency backup power supply, diesel generator sets are widely used in real estate, data centers, hospitals, banks, schools, banks, hotels, office buildings and other places. The above places have strict requirements for power support, and these places need to be equipped with two or more sets of diesel generators, one more than one, in case of emergency. With the wide application of diesel generator set, the emission problem of the unit during operation has also been paid close attention to by environmental protection. The standby diesel generator set in the early stage of cold start, because the cylinder temperature is low, the load is small, resulting in insufficient diesel combustion, there will be relatively strong black smoke, the main composition of these black smoke is not fully burned carbon particles, there are a small amount of hydrocarbons. These two types of substances are the main sources of environmental pollution and the focus of environmental protection. As the unit runs longer, the load slowly rises, the continuous work in the cylinder makes the temperature rise, in the good running state of the unit, the diesel fuel is fully burned, and the smoke is rapidly reduced.

Second, DPF particle trap

DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), diesel generator exhaust particulate collector, also known as generator black smoke purifier, engine dust removal device, is a product for the black smoke control of standby diesel generator set. The filter element is made of ceramic and metal, and the smoke control effect of the two is obvious. After the correct selection of the product, it can meet the requirements of the environmental protection requirement of Ringelmann blackness below one level.

Particle catcher (DPF) is a ceramic filter device installed in the engine emission system, which can capture particulate emissions before they enter the atmosphere, thereby reducing the emission of particulate matter in the automobile exhaust, reducing the pollution of the automobile exhaust to the atmosphere. The ceramic filter element has been used in the exhaust gas treatment of small diesel engines such as automobiles and motorcycles. After the technology transfers the maximum power diesel generator set, the ceramic purifier has the characteristics of large back pressure, large box volume, and large floor area. The metal filter element is an upgraded product developed on the basis of the ceramic filter element. The black smoke purifier has the characteristics of being small pressed at boot, compact box and simple regeneration method. The particle catcher has a regenerative function, that is, by oxidizing and burning the carbon in the captured particles, carbon dioxide is eventually generated and discharged. Therefore, the installation of particle traps is an important measure to promote low-carbon and environmental protection.

Three, DOC catalytic oxidizer

Diesel oxidation Catalyst DOC (Diesel Oxident Catalyst) is composed of catalyst carrier precious metal active coating (catalyst). Diesel oxidation Catalyst DOC (Diesel Oxident Catalyst) is composed of catalyst carrier precious metal active coating (catalyst). The diesel generator tail gas catalytic oxidizer is a compact product for the exhaust gas treatment of the standby diesel generator set. The surface of the filter element is coated with precious metals as a catalyst, which is used to catalyze the oxidation of harmful substances in the exhaust gas of the diesel engine. There are usually two materials, metal and ceramic. Through DOC, carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) emitted by diesel engine can be catalyzed to reduce carbon dioxide and water, and absorb a small amount of carbon particles, to reduce harmful gases and a small amount of carbon particles emissions.
