A Shanghai system integration enterprise equips its core park with Cummins QSK50 diesel generator sets to provide emergency power supply and voltage stabilization support for the facility. Obvious black smoke and excessive particulate emissions occur during unit startup, shutdown and load operation. The exhaust fails to meet current environmental emission standards and pollutes ambient air. Incomplete fuel combustion also accelerates mechanical wear and raises subsequent maintenance costs.
Self-developed dry-type black smoke purification equipment from Green Valley Environmental Protection is adopted for the project, built on mature DPF exhaust purification technology. Fitted with original French 316L alloy metal felt filter elements, the equipment features fluid mechanics optimized structure for full-range exhaust filtration. The parallel multi-filter design ensures sufficient effective filtering area, low initial operating back pressure and mild back pressure rise during operation.
The purification efficiency exceeds 95%. After renovation, exhaust complies with Ringelmann Smoke Scale Level 1, with no visible black smoke on site.
