The green treatment of generator exhaust gas is revealed

In today’s economic globalization, electricity has always been an indispensable resource to maintain daily life and industrial production, but behind this, the generator plays a crucial role, followed by environmental problems that cannot be ignored, especially the pollution of the atmosphere caused by the exhaust gas emitted by the generator. How do we deal with these waste gases effectively?

As we all know, the exhaust gas emitted by generators contains many harmful substances, including sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter and volatile organic compounds. These substances not only cause the greenhouse effect, but also cause acid rain, which can have a serious impact on human health. The treatment of these waste gases is not only the requirements of local environmental protection policies, but also the needs of social development, and the need for human survival.

Common generator exhaust gas treatment methods include selective catalytic reduction (SCR) wet scrubber, dust collector, activated carbon adsorption, thermal oxidation to treat generator exhaust gas. By injecting ammonia or other reducing agents into the exhaust gas, after a certain temperature and catalysis, the nitrogen oxide is converted into harmless nitrogen and water vapor.

Wet scrubber is through the use of alkaline solution to absorb the acidic gas in the waste gas, when the waste gas through the scrubber, the harmful gas and the solution react, and the clean gas can be discharged into the atmosphere.

The dust collector captures solid particles in the exhaust gas, uses a fine cloth bag to filter the particles, lets the clean gas pass through, and intercepts the particles.

Organic pollutants are treated by thermal oxidation and high temperature combustion, and the organic matter in the exhaust gas is oxidized into carbon dioxide and water under high temperature conditions, so as to achieve the purpose of purification.

The type of generator, exhaust gas composition is different, will affect the choice of different treatment methods, no matter what method is used, the ultimate goal is to minimize the emission of pollutants, protect the environment.

Waste gas treatment technology needs the unremitting efforts of researchers, the need for government policy support, the need for public awareness of environmental protection, everyone should be aware that protecting the environment is not only the responsibility of the government and enterprises, but also the obligation of every citizen.

Generator exhaust gas treatment is a complex and important topic, although full of challenges, but as long as we work together to find solutions, we can solve this problem, let us work together to create green, environmental protection better life.
