Exhaust Treatment (DPF) for Generator Sets of Data Centers in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand)
Technical introduction
This project adopts a wall-flow DPF particulate purification system as the core, with an optional upstream DOC unit available on demand. The complete unit is modularly integrated.
The DPF uses silicon carbide or cordierite substrates, achieving a particulate capture efficiency of ≥95%. It eliminates visible black smoke and limits flue gas darkness to Ringelmann Scale Grade 1. Passive regeneration is realized using exhaust heat from generator load operation to cut maintenance costs.
Equipped with on-line differential pressure monitoring and over-limit alarm functions, the system mitigates risks including filter clogging and rising backpressure.
Technical advantages
1、Adapted to Intermittent Start-Stop Conditions of Standby Generators
Tailored to the "long standby, short runtime" characteristic of data center generators, the regeneration logic is optimized to address soot accumulation during cold starts and prevent frequent DPF clogging.
2、Compliant with Local Emission Standards in Southeast Asia
It meets particulate matter and black smoke emission limits, supporting local environmental acceptance and periodic emission testing.
3、Low Backpressure Design
Internal structure is optimized via flow field simulation to control exhaust backpressure. This ensures the diesel generator sets can deliver reliable full-load output during power outages without compromising the emergency power supply of data centers.
4、Modular Design for Easy Installation The skid-mounted integrated unit facilitates sea transportation and on-site hoisting, adapting to construction conditions in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
5、Simple Maintenance for Overseas Projects The remote monitoring system with fault alerts reduces on-site inspection frequency. The regeneration mechanism cuts manual cleaning work and lowers overseas operation and maintenance costs.
