DOC+DPF+SCR Exhaust Treatment Project in Chile
Technical introduction
This project is an integrated DOC+DPF+SCR exhaust treatment solution developed by Green Valley for the Chile market, matched with the Weichai 12M55 high-power diesel generator set with a displacement of 65.65L. Integrating DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) units, the system can simultaneously remove four types of pollutants: CO, HC, PM particulate matter and NOₓ. The whole solution is custom-designed in accordance with local Chilean emission regulations to meet local environmental control requirements.
The DOC unit catalytically oxidizes CO and HC in exhaust gas into carbon dioxide and water, while raising exhaust temperature to support DPF regeneration. The DPF unit efficiently captures soot particles and maintains filtration performance via regeneration. With special catalysts and urea solution as reductant, the SCR unit reduces NOₓ into nitrogen and water for high-efficiency denitration. The system precisely controls ammonia slip to avoid secondary pollution.
After commissioning, exhaust emissions of CO, HC, PM and NOₓ stably comply with local off-road engine emission limits of Chile. Ammonia slip is kept within a reasonable range without secondary pollution risk, ensuring long-term continuous compliant operation of the generator set and passing local environmental inspection.
Technical advantages
1、The integrated DOC+DPF+SCR system features compact layout, low back pressure and excellent vibration resistance, suitable for continuous operation of high-power gensets.
2、Adopting modular customizable design according to engine power and exhaust parameters, the system is easy to maintain.
3、Optimized for South American climate conditions, it consistently meets Chilean local emission regulations and serves as a reliable exhaust purification solution for high-power diesel generator sets.
