DPF for Diesel Gensets at Wulanchabu Data Center
Technical introduction
This project is equipped with 13 sets of MTU 16V4000 DS2500, 2250 kW diesel generator sets. Located in Wulanchabu, where strong sand winds and large day-night temperature differences prevail, the customized DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) system with sand & dust resistance and wide-temperature tolerance is adopted to effectively treat particulate matter in generator exhaust gas. After project completion, the exhaust smoke density stably reaches Ringelmann Blackness Grade 1 or lower, eliminating black smoke emissions during genset startup and operation and meeting the environmental control requirements of the data center.
The DPF system efficiently captures soot particulate matter from the exhaust of diesel generator sets and adapts to the harsh outdoor working conditions in Wulanchabu with heavy sand and large temperature fluctuations. After completion, the project successfully passed environmental acceptance. The exhaust Ringelmann Blackness is stably controlled at Grade 1 or lower, completely solving the black smoke emission issue of standby generator sets.
Technical advantages
1、The complete DPF particulate filter equipment features a compact structure with sand & dust resistance and wide-temperature tolerance, suitable for the northern desert climate.
2、With a modular design, it is easy to install and delivers simple and reliable operation and maintenance.
3、It serves as a mature solution for black smoke treatment of standby diesel gensets in data centers.
